PRIVACY POLICY
What happens on your iPhone stays on your iPhone.
Podkipedia was built so you can be curious without being watched. This page explains exactly what the app does and doesn’t do with your data, in plain language.
What stays on your device
- Every episode you create — audio, transcript, and research notes — is stored on your iPhone and nowhere else.
- Episode generation and text-to-speech run entirely on your device. Your topics and episodes are never uploaded to us, because there is no “us” server to upload to.
- Podkipedia has no account system. We don’t know who you are, and we have no way to look at your library.
What leaves your device
One thing, and one thing only: when you pick a topic or use Wikipedia Today, Podkipedia fetches publicly available articles from Wikipedia over the network — the same request your browser would make. These requests are used to write your episode and for nothing else. They contain no advertising identifiers, no tracking, and no profile.
What we never do
- No cloud processing of your topics or episodes.
- No analytics, no tracking, no ads, no third-party SDKs harvesting data.
- No selling, sharing, or monetizing your data — there is no data to sell.
- No subscription, no hidden costs. Podkipedia is free.
Deleting your data
Delete an episode in the app and it’s gone from your device — there is no copy anywhere else. Delete the app and everything goes with it.
